A Scream to Adults

There I stand
In a deep valley between two worlds
But nobody offers me a hand
Nobody considers my words
And the confusion I feel inside
Together with my fellows in the band

Rules by which I have to abide
And commands I have to follow
Without explanation from the adults side
Consequently I grieve with sorrow
And all this hurts my pride
And foggy becomes my tomorrow

I don’t anymore want your aid
Cause I’ve had enough from you
I won’t anymore stay in the shade
And I’ll follow the plan I drew
Your control will soon fade
And I’ll get rid of your sticky glue

However I’ll keep the hope
That one day you'll dare to decide
To loosen from around my neck the rope
And accept to stay for a while aside
Giving me the chance to experience and develop
And learn how to face the highest tide
