Africa belongs to Africans

Hello my dear African youth,
First of all, i am proud to be an African.
We, young people represent the future of this continent.
Of course, we are not from the same countries.
Of course, we are not from the same culture.
May be we do not practice the same religions.
But we all are Africans and now is the time us for to change our mind and get up to struggle for our rights.
It is not time now in the 21 century to sleep a lot.
It is not time for us to spend all the day doing nothing.
It is time to have a created mind.
Let's think of our future.
No one except us can build a better future for us.
Let's study hard.
Let's do our utmost to go ahead every single day in our life.
Anybody can face difficulties in his or her life.
Such is life.
Our parents are counting on us.
Our families are counting on us my dear brothers and sisters.
our countries are counting on us.
Let's be proud of what we are doing.
Let's love what we chose in our life.
My fellow African young people,
Life is a daily struggle.
Life may be will never be too easy again.
But we are free to do what we want in our life.
We don't do the same things.
We don't like the same things.
But anyone is good in something in this life.
Use your talent.
Show who you are.
Stop thinking that people are better than you.
At last, this is my motto for you:
"Whoever you are,whatever you do, wherever you go, try to be the best among your mates"

¿Qué es un Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizaje?

¿Qué es un Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizaje?

En este blog se explicará de manera resumida el concepto  de una AVA (ambiente virtual de aprendizaje).

Observa el siguiente video donde Ale Felix (2012), explica el concepto AVA así las ventajas así como cuáles son los requerimientos en las cuales opera, los requerimientos del espacio y cuáles son las consideraciones para un AVA.

Ambientes virtuales de aprendizaje

De acuerdo a la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana,

Un Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizaje es el conjunto de entornos de interacción, sincrónica y asincrónica, donde, con base en un programa curricular, se lleva a cabo el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje, a través de un sistema de administración de aprendizaje.

Se podría decir que un AVA es un espacio virtual mediado a través del internet y utilizando diversas tecnologías multimedia donde la interacción se da entre el alumno docente, alumno, material, docente-alumno. La comunicación es factor clave para que un Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizaje sea exitoso. La comunicación se da de dos maneras, de manera sincrónica es decir comunicación en el mismo tiempo y espacio ejemplo de esto son los chats, facetime, Skype o algún otro medio donde se permita la comunicación en tiempo real.  Y el otro tipo de comunicación se da de manera asincrónica, ejemplo de esto es la mensajería, correo electrónico, donde se deja mensajes esperando que el tutor pueda responder las dudas o inquietudes que salgan de las actividades.

De acuerdo a López Rayón, Escalera Ledesma (2002) los Ambientes Virtuales de Aprendizaje (AVA), lo define como “el conjunto de entornos de interacción, sincrónica y asincrónica, donde, con base en un programa curricular, se lleva a cabo el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje, a través de un sistema de administración de aprendizaje”. La interacción es una característica importante de los ambientes virtuales ya que es a través de medios como la mensajería, foros, y chats que los individuos podrán comunicarse y externar sus dudas, experiencias y aprendizajes. Sin la comunicación efectiva se corre el riesgo de que el AVA fracase, ya que es la comunicación de cualquier tipo lo que hace una característica fundamental. La comunicación es el único medio que se tiene para poder expresar las dudas, inquietudes, compartir experiencias y conocimientos.

Acerca de la gestión del ambiente de aprendizaje requiere de la estructuración e integración de los diferentes entornos, Chan Nuñez menciona los siguientes:

- Elección de los soportes o plataformas que convengan para contar con los espacios y recursos requeridos para las prácticas educativas.

- Integrar en cada entorno del ambiente de aprendizaje los contenidos y recursos que posibilitarán su función.

- Proponer y disponer las regulaciones y condiciones que faciliten interacciones con sentido para los participantes en el entorno de aprendizaje.

Cada una de estas tareas permitirá que el asesor y estudiantes puedan entender fácilmente la plataforma. La plataforma será el “salón de clases” y que para haya éxito debe ser accesible y fácil de entender. Además los materiales y contenidos deben ser acordes a las características del programa educativo.

Para concluir, considero que los Ambientes Virtuales de Aprendizaje son un arma sumamente poderosa que traspasa todas las fronteras. Sin duda alguna los AVAs se han formado gracias al conjunto de tecnologías y sobre todo de personas decididas a aportar a la educación a distancia. Podremos tener las mejores tecnologías para desarrollar un AVA pero si la gente que trabaja en un AVA no está comprometida, es seguro que el AVA no será exitoso. Y viceversa podremos tener las mejores personas dedicadas a los AVAs pero si cuenta con tecnología limitada no se podrá hacer o alcanzar grandes avances o logros como se esperan, por  lo que un AVA exitoso sería el conjunto de personas dedicadas y decididas a apoyar a personas motivadas a superarse en línea así como el conjunto de tecnologías que a través del uso de Internet y nuevas tecnologías serán capaces de desarrollar programas de calidad. Es un reto que se tiene hoy en día, romper con ideas o estereotipos de que los AVAs no funcionan ya no que tienen credibilidad o que no son confiables.  Aunque cambiar estas ideas no será fácil estoy segura que los AVAs hablarán por sí sólos cuando las personas se den cuenta que la educación a distancia, desde la aparición del Internet, ha existido y funciona.

TO BE A TEEN

that's the question"

Who really am I?

The mirror tells me the truth or lie?

Parents consider me ready

But, look at my belly!

I'm physically mature

Are you sure?

Sometimes, I feel like

I'm a good manager and do everything that I want

But the walls around my life, say me

You don't!  You're reliant

I'm a scientist of my life

I check, I test, I cry

Why am I so frustrated?

I already know everything I am related

What I can see is not like that

I’m sure if I bet

I’ll bring more happiness to me

I’m aware of my power

I’ll be popular, loved, happy and rich

I’ll do something right now,

I’m impulsive!

But to be always strong seems like weak

I’m freak!

JUST A TEEN !

Desiring not to be a child, I refuse to be an adult. While wishing privacy, I don’t want to be alone. Not accepting criticism I need to be accepted anyway. When teased, I react Reacting, I’m misunderstood. Wishing freedom, I need limits. Fighting for my own identity, I experience other’s. Being challenged, I learn Learning, I feel more secure. Keeping quiet, I think Thinking, I keep quiet. Asleep, I dream Dreaming, I wake up. I’m just a teen !

How to describe the most powerful and intense stage of a human being in some lines?

There are innumerable feelings and adjectives to depict a teen

Emotional and easy-going, in some cases

Extremely cooperative when praised

Noisy can be used for most of them, naïve for some

Always connected

Glad, creative, and curious

Especially when they are in a good mood

Reactive, confused, lazy and moody, at any time

Seeking for love and respect, they are incredible and amazing beings.

Sometimes afraid, however no one says this.

I guess freedom would be your names

They don’t care, while their parents care for them.

They like to do things against their teachers.

We do feel hard to accept their problems.

They’re so talkative about useless things.

They are really stubborn and dogmatic.

When we ask them to work; they have no feeling,

But they like to be praised and romantic.

What can be done right for Cambodian teens?

What helps them live in a good society?

What are crucial answers for these questions?

We really want to give them their safety.

We hope teens would be more reliable.
